围绕提升水稻、小麦和玉米等主要作物遗传转化效率低、拓展适用基因型及创制生物育种新材料等核心目标,本团队重点开展遗传转化效率提升、可转化基因型拓展及新材料创制工作。为大学、科研院所提供遗传转化载体服务。利用遗传转化平台优势创制了一系列有价值的育种材料,包括降低水稻分蘖角度、降低小麦直链淀粉含量等编辑株系。其中,对我国主栽小麦品种“济麦22”和“宁春4号”的TaWaxy基因进行编辑,获得了7种均为无转基因元件的突变体,这些材料表现出典型糯小麦特性。开发了花青素标记小麦单倍体诱导系的技术体系。研发的抗虫玉米转化体VB15并获得转基因生产应用安全证书。相关研究成果在Nucleic Acids Research、Plant Biotechnology Journal、 Journal of Integrative Plant Biology、Plant Physiology、Carbohydrate Polymers等期刊上发表论文10篇。获授权发明专利5项,国际专利2项,获得转基因生物安全证书1个。
